VIZIO D-Serie 32” Smart TV Chromcast not available

ChromeCast Isn't Working, the smartcast does not load, just a photo from google that keeps changing. It does not load the mosaic of apps, the only thing I can do is from the cell to send the playback to the TV, videos from Facebook, YouTube, Redbull TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime and Spotify music. Sometimes it doesn't grab the first one but I disconnect and send again and if it works well. Do you have to have the location option enabled on the cell phone if it doesn't work? WHY?? When the TV recognizes that you are in Mexico, it is a shame that the full smartcast does not work. Apparently this smartcast software does not work in Mexico or outside the USA. I live on the border and set it up in the USA and take it to Mexico, but even so it won't even let me access the internet. Only through the vizio smartcast mobile play store app. On occasions the mosaic has been shown, but later it no longer tells me that it is not available in the region. Why should I always have my cell phone linked because I can't do it directly with the remote control?

Due to those differences, some content and apps might not be accessible in all areas. In regards to your remote, I would recommend to start with doing a power cycle of both the TV and the remote by removing the batteries and pressing all of the buttons before inserting batteries again. This TV is terrible

I bought this a month ago, and it works horribly. The picture isn't great but for the price I expect that. But the menu control of the TV is horribly slow and laggy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Glad we could find a smart TV that wasn't associated with having ROKU. I love just having my main apps right there without going through another company with free apps that I have to pay them to watch them. You can download your apps free, but pay Roku to watch them.

By far this is one of the best tvs I own, the picture is so good I also use it as as second computer monitor.
