A little sad that I bought this without looking into the item better. I am disappointed that I don't have the option to add apps such as Discovery + and I only have the preloaded apps available. If I had researched better, u never would have bought this TV
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Gscurrier, this TV uses our SmartCast Platform which offers a host of built in apps, as well as support for Google's Chromecast, Apple's AirPlay 2, and voice support for SIRI, Google Home, and Alexa. You are not able to manually download additional apps, however new apps are added to the platform often. If you find there is an app you want to watch that is not on SmartCast you may be able to cast it using Chromecast or Apple AirPlay from your phone or mobile device. Love this as a monitor!

I purchased this Vizio after my LG monitor failed. I love Vizio products and this is perfect for the task at hand! Added to that, I can also use it as a Smart TV for those times when I need a distraction more than I need a monitor.

Versatility

This TV has many apps and it gives me a host of options to view while exercising on my treadmill. The only problem is that sometimes it disconnects from the WiFi. That could be an issue with our connection.
