I have had this TV for a year. I have to keep unplugging it to reset it. To update the apps, I had to do a complete reset.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Micheri123, you should not have to reset your television or unplug it to get any features to perform. So we thought we would invest in a larger television set. And chose the Vizio 40 inch smart TV. It is so easy to use and love the quality of the picture.
