Interrupted by smartcast- just wanted a tv

This product has been just fine. The smart cast registration screen comes on every time the screen is powered on even though the product is registered. This illustrates to me how smart the device is.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice picture - Smartcast SUCKS!!

Got this TV for my son for Christmas. The picture is very good. Has nice array of connections for device hookups. Problem I have is with the Smartcast. I have had to reset the TV to Factory Settings 3 times just since Christmas just to get Smartcast to work. It will NOT work with ethernet plugged in even though it shows connected and tests come back successful smartcast will not work. It works over wifi but after about 1 1/2 weeks it just quits and I have to reset it to get it to work. More of a pain then it's worth.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The not so smart tv....

I bought my vizio a month ago ... I was ready to enjoy my first smart Tv ....But unfortunately it was a let down the only apps you can get are preloaded to the tv....there is no browser or anything that I expected from all the commercials and hype ...so I Will do my research before I spend money on junk
