This tv does what it should. I would say picture quality is more like 720p and not 1080p and more like a 30 or 40 hz refresh rate because it has the worst motion blur I've ever seen. Internal speakers are decent though.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

You can also individually adjust your picture settings in the menu. For brighter rooms, try using the ‘VIVID’ picture mode for a brighter, more colorful image.
