A fine TV, as is my old 32" Vizio (still working)

Having a 32" Vizio since 2009, I didn't hesitate getting this 40" set for my new rec room. Same great quality picture and vibrant color. Smart features allowed me to use the TV tuners in my computer until I can get an antenna to it, so Plex & NetFlix worked as soon as I set up my WiFi. Hope to find a way to install additional apps.

TV Died within 5 months

Vizio's used to be great TVs. I own 2 larger older ones and they have worked well for years. The newer ones (like this new one) is cheaply made, flimsy and popper quality. Many have complained that the sound quality is poor. It is not great. The repair man sent to fix it said that he almost exclusively has to fix these new cheap Vizios. He said he rarely is called to fix Samsung's. That's The only brand he buys. Stay away from the newer, cheaper, crappy Vizio brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
