Love it, except...

Great picture but the sound is just awful, beyond unacceptable, the sound is cringe worthy. I had to just spent more on a small sound bar than I paid for the TV... that’s not what I wanted to do or expected...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Extremely slow response

Picture is good but the response from the remote to the TV is extremely slow. Once the remote signal registers the response from the TV is still extremely slow. I've researched online and this is a known (common) issue. Wouldn't have purchased the D-Series if I had known in advance. It literally takes 15 seconds to complete the cycle after the "home" button is depressed...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
