This is the first tv I've owned in over 15 years. Light weight, takes up almost no real space and the picture is like looking out a window

Slow, buggy “smart” TV

I’ve had this for a little over a month and although the picture is good, it has its share of issues.
1. It can be really slow when using the smart features.After pressing the arrow on the remote, the screen can remain unchanged. Then, when you hit the arrow again, it moves twice. It seems like the processor is too small for what it’s doing and it gets overwhelmed.
2. I get the Vizio version of the blue screen of death. Although it is gray, it means that everything is broken and I need to unplug to restart. So, I seem to have to unplug the TV about once a week, which is annoying.
3. I have other TV’s that are not smart and have Rokus attached. Perhaps I got spoiled with all the apps that can be added to them, but I am dissatisfied with the streaming app selection this TV has, and although it is a smart TV, I may be adding a Roku and using that instead for both app selection and consistency of performance.
4. I don’t watch a lot of broadcast shows, but when I do on this TV, I don’t notice any problems, so it seems that the smart components are to blame for the poor performance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good picture if it worked

I have had this TV for 2 weeks and have already contacted service 2 times. It has dropped off or the screen has frozen numerous times a day. Very irritating to have to restart all the time. It works fine for Netflix, Amazon Prime etc., but is terrible for Live streaming. We use Hulu and it just does not work. Do not recommend for cord cutters. I usually don’t write bad reviews but I can’t recommend this TV.

I love my tv! I thought it was super inexpensive which was nice. The only problem I’ve had is that occasionally it can’t connect to my wifi! Other than that I have all the apps I need and it’s so easy to access and function. I definitely would recommend this product if you are looking for a smart tv!

I had it for years and it still going great! I purchased the 40 inch Visio TV for my college dorm and years later it’s still running strong. I love that it’s a smart TV and it has all the features I need

I have had so many brands of t's, but after my first Vizio, I knew I was happy!!
Its the one tv that is not only attractive but so simple to use . At my age that's a very important issue. The picture is always so clear and sharp. We have finally upgraded all tvs in our house to Vizio and so has several friends and family members.
I would recommend this to a friend!
