Average TV, honestly.

I really wish the colors popped more. Everything looks washed out. I have to fenagle with the colors manually (outside of presets) a lot for a passable result.
Even worse is that these color settings don't apply to the TV home screen/chromecast slideshows, so I might have a picture from my Google Photos of the the most beautiful wedding picture... but the colors are washed out. It's... not a good look.
I'd also kill to have the ability to turn off the Chromecast now that I'm looking into getting a "Chromecast with Google TV". But if I do that, I'll have a vestigial "Cast to..." option on my ever-growing list of cast-capable devices (3 chromecast [2 vizio, one 3rd gen chromecast]), a BD Player, and a Roku.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Had two software issues in the first month that were resolved fairly quickly. Love having the ability now to use SmartCast in my room!

Barely passable.

The screen has a terrible viewing angle, terrible sound, color settings don't apply to the Chromecast slideshow screen so all your beautiful photos on Google Photos looks washed out.
And goodness gracious, THE SLOW MENUS. I'd dare say avoid Smart TVs altogether until all TV makers understand we want something with as much responsiveness as our phones. This "wait a second for moving one tile over" crap isn't going to cut it.
I also wish you could turn off the Chromecast device since I want to replace the smart OS with an ACTUALLY FAST smart OS by hooking up a "Google Chromecast with Google TV" up to it... but THEN I'll have a vestigial Cast-capable devices every time I open the Cast menu.
The only saving grace is the price, which from what I remember, was fairly cheap. Just... good God, remember you get what you pay for.

This is my second Vizio TV, and the setup was a breeze. It was easy to unbox and move around, and this was easily a one woman job!

Worst TV i have.

Since the first day I plugged the TV in it has been less than great. The TV lags greatly and freezes constantly. I have to either unplug the tv or do a soft power cycle 2-4 times daily because of this. The smartcast home screen just recently started working consistently, it didn't work for 3 months straight at one point. Airplay cuts off the sound mid video sometimes. And lastly it is limited on the apps it has. My children like to watch the PBSkids app but can't on this TV. I have to mirror it off my phone. I think I'll stick with roku from now on.

I normally research before I buy and I really wish I did for this purchase. The remote control falls apart each time I drop the remote. I have to constantly put it together and find myself having to put the batteries back in. Also, there are missing apps like Premium Channels such as Starz, HBO, Cinemax and Showtime. It would’ve been nice to have Quibi almost premium channels available for download. I am not happy with my purchase but it is OK for the time being.
