Purchased for a spare room I use as an office/guest/craft room. The original tv was small and became difficult to read the apps and movies. I have owned several Vizios and was pretty happy with them, this one not so much. You can not change the aspect ratio on the apps, which is exactly what I needed, now everything is smaller than the original tv I had and yet this Vizio is larger. Maybe that is an app problem, so you can zoom in under setting in the tv mode, well then everything is so big you can read a single word let alone choose a show to watch. Locks and freezes a lot. I need to power it down and plug back in and start again. I have avoided a reset because I have to sign back into all my streaming accounts. the remote is convenient, small black and can't see it night problem for seniors and those of us who may have vision issues, the remote I purchased only works so much of the tv so that is limited and now I have to remotes. I did my research on the tv before I chose it, but found nothing mentioning not being able to change aspect ratio on apps, that is a big downer for me, makes this tv virtually worthless for me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great TV for the price, am incredibly impressed with the features, and the ability to control my other devices, 4 stars only because it's slow often but nothing unbearable.
