Great but one annoying thing

It's a great tv but the voice saying what channel it is and what's on is annoying. I can't figure out how to turn it off. It didn't do it when I got it in April. Now it's July and it starting doing it.

The only issue I have with this purchase is the remote control. It does not provide fast forward, rewind, pause, and play buttons as my old Visio remote did. I checked the website and it seems they no longer offer one that has these functions.. Before recommending this product I would make sure they know about this problem and have a solution.
