At times the sound is not great. Sounds like it is in the bottom of a well for a number of seconds and this is at random times.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great features and picture quality

I had two older model Vizios TVs and my 11yr old wanted a newer bigger tv. I decided to go with the same brand name and now after seeing my sons new Vizio I now want to upgrade the two older Vizios to enjoy the newer features :)
