The TV itself is very nice, but the fact you can't download or control existing apps is total. If I don't want an app on my TV I should easily be able to delete it and half the "forced" Vizio apps are complete garbage. I can re-order them, but why have 40+ apps if most are useless to me. I also can't download existing apps (History & A&E) to watch 1000's of past episodes stand alone. Chromecast is a joke! Why do I need to use a cell phone or tablet to get what I want on my TV. Complete waste of time having to use 2 devices when 1 will do. I should have read more before purchase, but maybe I can sell it and go back to Samsung... they get it!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great picture. I gave it 4 stars because the speakers don't have a great sound. We bought a sound bar for it and it sounds great through it.

This TV was for my elderly Mother-In-Law. One of her few enjoyments left in life. Her other TV stopped working. So I thought I would give Vizio a try. Glad I did!!! Great value!!! Beautiful TV. I called for programming assistance and it was quick and extremely customer friendly!
