I picked this up right before the Great Covid Lockdown of 2020 not knowing I would be stuck in my home for months on end with my husband. We do not have it hooked up to cable, only the internet and it works perfect for our needs! The only complaint I have is it takes quite a while to turn on and I usually have to turn it on several times because I don't know if it's on or not

After dumping cable we needed to update an outdated tv to allow for streaming. After reading reviews we purchased a VIZIO D-Series Smart TV. I am disappointed in the apps available and the TV seems to drop WiFi. We have 1 Gig for internet speed and a top of the line WiFi router so the signal strength is not the issue. When I buy another TV it will likely not be a VIZIO
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
