Doesn’t stream via Ethernet

I thought I would be able to stream internet content from my computer to the screen over my Ethernet connection but no joy. WiFi is slower than Ethernet and can be choppy. With so many people using the internet during the pandemic, the data transfer rate is slower as it is without the instability of WiFi.
Probably going to return the TV.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi Nunnaubizness. Our SmartCast TV's do have an ethernet port to connect an ethernet cable to the TV. Doing so will automatically disable the Wi-Fi on the TV. You can also use the built-in Chromecast feature to cast your computer desktop or chrome tab to the TV. Outstanding Graphics

My last TV blinked out on me, so I bought a VIZIO. I play Elvenar and the difference in the graphics from my last TV is like night and day. The colors are more vivid, and the detail, wow. I see things in my city that I didn't even know were there.
I plugged it in and the VIZIO automatically updated, recognized my wifi, and I was up and running in 15 minutes (updates). Then I plugged my computer into the HDMI-1 and the VIZIO became my 40" monitor screen. I am really impressed with the picture.
