Visio products usually are. The smart TV functions are not great, but what smart TV is actually "smart."

I had a 2010 led model just like this one that broke after 10 years of use and abuse so i bought another one. Juat 4 stars cause after 3 months it has 2 small minor hotspots on the screen. But i am very happy with my purchase.

Bare-bones piece of garbage

I bought this to mount in my office room, so of all my TVs, this is the least necessary. I stream all my content, mostly through YouTubeTV. Unfortunately, the YTTV app on this doesn't work well. The whole wifi reception is poor, so I ended up using an Amazon Fire stick. That helps immensely. This will eventually be replaced by another cheap TV, but one that works.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Any app we provide in the TV to access should work as long as it is connected to a stable network without any interference.
