Bought this as a back up TV for my man cave on super bowl weekend. Was extremely happy with the ease of set up and how light it is compared to the 12 year old 42" Visio that I replaced.

Color quality is terrible, and the sound is awful.

I purchased this tv about a month ago. Just needed something for my bedroom, always heard good things about Vizio so figured I would give it a go. The color quality is awful, no matter which option I choose it just looks gloomy. Also, the sound is another an issue, if I’m watching certain shows and commercial comes on, or even when I’m streaming the sound jumps from a reasonable level to very loud, but then once the show is back on the sound goes back to normal. Only happens with this tv.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

To make sure you’re getting the most out of you VIZIO TV, we’d recommend making sure your devices are connected with an HDMI cable, and are set to broadcast in 4K (2160p) or Full HD (1080p). You can also individually adjust your picture settings in the menu. For brighter rooms try using the ‘Calibrated’ setting, for darker rooms try ‘Calibrated Dark’. If you’d like any assistance adjusting these settings, our customer support team would love to help you dial in the TV to your preference, you can reach them at 877-878-4946. There are also advanced audio settings in the television that we can look into for a more refined audio.

Good TV

Th tv works good , the only issue I have is the builtin Chromecast. It has not worked correctly since I bought the tv and it does not connect with the phone as advertised.
