Hit or miss

We bought two of these TV's at the same time. One stopped turning on, so we returned it and got a replacement. The second tv, right at 3 months old, being turned on a handful of times, took forever to turn on or wouldn't turn on at all. We were able to return that tv and just kept the one. Well the tv we have, only used once in a great while, is hit or miss if it's going to turn on at all. When it does, it sometimes goes back to home menu while searching or wont get past the V boot up logo. We are past the return window so we are stuck with our decorative tv screen. We developed a routine of unplugging the unit before the second attempt to turn it on, waiting 30 seconds and plugging it back in. Seems to work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I got this a few months ago to replace our 3yr 50in vizio that my child cracked the screen on. I loved the old one so I knew I wanted to same brand though this updated version isn't as easy to use I still like it

The tv lasted about 2 years before, it got a few spots. I gave it to my kids and got a different brand
