The slowest TV I've ever used

The television has great features, a great picture (when properly calibrated/adjusted), and decent sound. The built in Chromecast function and the available apps/free channels are excellent. Connectivity to my home network is excellent. However, this is all overshadowed by the fact that the unit has the absolute slowest UI I have ever encountered on any device. I don't mean a little bit slow. I mean so slow that you aren't sure it even registered the command until you've clicked again, only to have it pass multiple commands ten or more seconds later. It is so bad that we connected an actual Chromecast to it in order to bypass the built in OS. It's literally not useable unless you have five+ minutes to simply search for your desired entertainment, go back to the home menu, get into settings, or anything else you want this thing to do. This is my first and last Vizio television, for sure. You absolutely get what you pay for.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great AV, poor OS hardware

This has been a really great replacement for my old tv. Screen and sound quality are great! My only problem with it is that the built-in Chromecast OS is VERY SLOW compared to a non-integrated Chromecast HDMI plugin. WiFi signal more than makes up for it, but the lack of remote control/external button responsiveness takes off a star.
