Basic Monitor

It is a larger screen than my previous 24". The stand is pretty flimsy. The instructions for mounting were useless; but not that hard to figure out. The one angle of the stand means that you need to be quite high above the screen to look directly into the screen. This is not my case, so somewhat disappointing. The pixels are evident. The colour is OK, but it seems like the top of the screen is darker. Yes it was cheap and was on sale. Not blown away. It is too much trouble to return, so I will continue with it. It is not the primary computer, so we live with it as a back up, but I would not recommend it if someone asked, I would suggest trying something else. I wish I had used my budget to just buy a better 24" screen.

This monitor is overpriced, I got it on sale for $225 after a month the power button stopped working. I had to turn it off and on again by unplugging it. For this price, you should be able to get 144hz monitor. The resolution is ok, it is extremely difficult to adjust the tilt of the monitor and it is very annoying to access the different settings. I strongly suggest do your research and get a good budget 144hz monitor or a much cheaper 75hz monitor.

I am very pleased with the monitor. Purchased it on-line and no problems with the order and delivered very fast even during the busy holiday season. I like the built in speakers that saves desk space. The 2W speakers may not be suitable for others who like a louder sound system. A big improvement over my smaller 21" monitor. No problems assembling it and setting it up.

ACER GF276 Abmipx

Great monitor but the drivers and support are dated. The ACER utilities for adjusting the settings does not work on this device. Aside from the lack of support, the product itself works very well and offers a great image for its price point (at 1080p). If you have the time and patience to tweak the settings, this offers good value for your money.

Pretty good, but not amazing image quality.

These monitors are pretty decent for the price. Especially the small bezel and VESA mount for multi-monitor setups. VESA is becoming less common these days. These were the only VESA compatible monitors that my local best buy stocked.
The VGA input is also a plus if you periodically require using VGA its nice to have it available and not have to drag out an old monitor.
My one gripe with them is the contrast, in a dark room the contrast is quite poor compared to higher quality monitors. Especially if you are driving it from a laptop with a high quality panel and have a side by side comparison. They're a bit washed out and blacks are more dark grey and it becomes quite noticeable and irritating. Although I think that would be pretty common on monitors of this technology and price range. High quality displays have ruined average displays for me.
I'd recommend them if your on a budget or aren't amazingly concerned about image quality.

Had the monitor for about a month now. Pretty happy with it. Only complaint is that it didn't come with an HDMI cable. Had to make another run back to the BestBuy just to pick one up.
