We haven't had this long enough to know how it does long term, but so far we love it. I'm still learning how to best use the hot water system but it has been enjoyed. I'm hoping to get it tied into Alexa so I can verbally request my hot water.

A very good refrigerator, but not perfect

We had an earlier (2013) model of this refrigerator and had to replace it when the water dispensing system stopped working and could not be fixed. While this newer model continues to be very nice, there are a few things I like less than on the original. The original contained an activated charcoal odor filter. This one doesn't. The water filter used to be in the edge of the door, making it very easy to replace. The current model puts the water filter up on the interior wall of the refrigerator, so replacing it will require moving contents of the adjacent shelf to access the and replace the filter, making it more difficult, The doors of the new model require a significant push to completely close, instead of closing easily. Maybe that's to ensure you can't almost but not completely close the door without triggering a warning, but it still means extra work is required every time we shut the door. The old water heating function used to give a time left before the water would be hot. Now, you just get a progress bar.
None of these are major complaints, however. It's still a very nice unit. The hot water dispenser is the real reason we picked this unit.
