We purchased the GE Cafe full size refrigerator in white with black sides. I originally wanted the matte black color, but, when I saw it in person in the store, I realized that it was really a very dark gray which would not work with the all-black appliances that I already own. I saw the white with black sides and decided that since I had white cabinets, this might look better than the dark gray. It works out well. I wish it was a true gloss black, but this is a reasonably good compromise. It is very large looking with the white front and the massive door handles, but it is very attractive and I am getting used to the size. Inside, it is gorgeous. The lighting, the styling, the flexibility of shelf placement.....it is far superior to others I looked at in similiar price ranges. Only negatives that I have found so far are the small size of the ice storage compartment and the 10 oz limit on the hot water dispenser (as other reviews have mentioned). The freezer area is generous and I am able to store a lot more frozen foods that in my old side-by-side of the same size. I am very pleased with our purchase and hope to have this for many years.

This refrigerator is amazing.... best one i have ever owned !!!! Love all the features, especially the hot water. Would definitely recommend it... in fact i did and my sister in law got one too !!!!

LOVE OUR CAFE

We had a Samsung before and it was trash! Massive problems with the ice maker and leaking water with the filter so we trashed it and got the GE Cafe and I wish we did this long ago. First even though there the exact same size there so much more room inside. I think were going to have this for a long time.

I really love this refrigerator. There is plenty of room and it looks great in my kitchen. I only have 2 cons: 1) you have to make sure that you push the doors closed and 2) the hot water takes a long to time to get hot.

Spacious interior of both refrigerator and freezer

Love, Love, Love the Hot water in the door feature. I make hot tea each morning and this has eliminated a countertop electric kettle. The multi shelf adjustment spaces are one of the main reasons i purchased this item. Ice maker is on the small size, not for a family who uses alot of ice each day. Overall this is a really good purchase.

IN THE SPECS INFO REGARDING INSTALLATION IT DOES NOT SHOW WHERE THE PLUG/CORD IS LOCATED. AS AN ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR THIS WOULD BE EXTREMELY HELPFUL. WHEN RUNNING POWER FOR UNIT WE HAVE MODEL # BUT THE FRIDGE IS NOT PRESENT TO SEE WHERE TO RUN OUTLET
