Great features but needs a redesign

I bought this for our new kitchen. I love it with the exception of the ice maker: it is small, takes up too much room and is difficult to access when you want large amounts of ice at once. The ice tends to freeze up at the top of the unit and sometimes will not drop as well

Purchased unit in August...so far great, plenty of storage and flexibility. Only complaint: very noisey when water refilling to replenish ice maker....

Love the Cafe Frig

I love my Café French door refrigerator. It has so much storage and love having hot water on the door. The only issue and the reason I couldn't give it 5 stars is that it doesn't seem possible to pull the crisper/deli drawers out to clean because the French doors are so thick the drawers will not clear the French doors. I have sent a question to GE to see if there is a trick to removing them for cleaning. I love this refrigerator and have not had trouble with it making noise as I had read in a couple reviews. I would highly recommend this refrigerator as I'm sure GE has a work around for getting the drawers out for cleaning.

I really like this refrigerator, but there are a few things I'm having a hard time adjusting to. Shelf spacing is sometimes an issue. I love the ice maker removal box. Very easy

Very aesthetic and very functional

Installation was easy, no issues afterwards. Everything functional, as I would expect it to be. Love the hot water feature, comes in very handy for tea, oatmeal and quick soups. The ice maker is flush against the inside door. Other comparable refrigerators have the left upper area taken up by the ice maker. I really love that. Bigger than I expected, 27 cubic ft. goes a long way. Freezer is roomy. Feels sturdy when I open and close the doors. Matches my Cafe series stove. Really looks high end. So far, I'm in love with all the features. Not too many electronics that become overwhelming but just enough. I got the warranty because of a bad experience with a previous refrigerator that was not GE.

I bought this about 6 months ago and I love it. Love the hot water part the most. Its really convenient and I no longer need a water boiler. The water tastes really clean too coming the fridge. I can no longer even drink water from a brita filter
