The reason it not come to 5 stars because its noisy, make big noise, take few months to familiar with that noise...

Positive-Looks nice. Easy access to frozen product. Hot and cold water.
Negative- At times the ice machine will clog, and will make a loud noise lasting 5 to ten minutes.

I like the product - does well with my Monogram range. Haven't had an opportunity to use the hot water feature yet. Ice tends to jam in the dispenser but that could be because of lack of use when we we are away. Wish the doors opened a little wider.

We purchased GE Cafe with the expectation that their reputation, quality and customer service would be worth the investment. The stainless steel has started to peel off of the front of our freezer drawer at 18 months. The warranty was only valid for 12 months. We purchased 6 high-end GE appliances and 4 of them have had major fails at around the 18-month mark, all outside of warranty. Buyer beware!

Great Fridge - Cafe Series

The Cafe Series offers better features than the regular GE appliance line. This model has a measured water dispenser and a hot water dispenser for soup or coffee. Works great.

Great space and features

I really like my GE refrigerator. The option to make hot water is so unique and convenient. It takes a bit of time but I just use that time to make my breakfast or anything else I need to get done. There is so much room in both refrigerator and freezer. I have never had a refrigerator that I have enjoyed this much!

I would not recommend to any one. Unit caused property damage had to go through BBB to get GE to replace 14 month unit.
