Love the split shelf to accommodate tall items. The tall inset for water/ ice dispenser actually accommodates my coffee percolator for filling. The large freezer compartment with movable dividers and solid plastic upper shelf works well with freezer items.

Great fridge except it leaks water

I really like this fridge with the exception of the leaky water. GE says that's normal....My old LG fridge didn't leak water and I have seriously considered going back to it because the leak drives me crazy. It drips about every 4 minutes, so I constantly have water marks on the tray. When I buy a higher end product I expect a better product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love features

After looking at many manufactures we decided on the GE Café. French doors and large freezer a must. Especially like the ice maker and water dispenser. That was the problem with the old refrigerator. My only concerns are that with a high end appliance as this refrigerator, GE could have had a better smudge proof door finish and the doors don't open all the way for easy access to veg/meat drawers. Have to open both doors.

Love this fridge!

I have had the fridge for a month. I love the matte black finish with the copper hardware and the way the fridge and freezer compartments are organized. The hot water option is great.

Good size and features

We bought this refrigerator as part of a suite for our new home through our builder. We added some upgraded features like the hot water on the door, which takes awhile and only dispenses 9-10 oz of water at a time. Not sure I would want that feature again, but the interior size is great, and the freezer has plenty of room too. The shallow drawer in the top of the freezer is particularly handy.
