GE needs to relook at packaging

I bought and returned 3 of these- The first one the seals were torn. The next 2 the packaging left permanent wrinkles in the paint. If you have a dark kitchen you wont notice. The Ice machine leaked on the third one. Otherwise the fridge was beautiful.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nothing but repeat problems

Freezer door didn’t shut, got new one. Freezer door tracking still bad. Plastic shelf is warped and won’t stay in the door. Chill drawer rolls out on its own EVERY time I open the doors. You cannot adjust the feet on your own to make this stop, they have to do it for you. The fridge handle is already loose, the tray for the coffee cup sucks and leaks. I just wanted a fridge not a glorified technology ridden piece of garbage. The repair people have been here 3 times and I still don’t have a functioning fridge. Extremely unhappy with my purchase :(

I bought my refrigerator three months ago and it has broken down twice already.
Twice it would not hold temperature, twice it damaged my wooden floors. Twice I have lost all food in the refrigerator and freezer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Georgeous but Noisy!

This refrigerator looks Gorgeous and chic, and definitely "it's not my momma's white"!! Very roomy inside but the plastic drawers are cheaply made with raw borders. Adding a trim to the drawers, similar to the trims on the glass shelves would have stepped up the overall quality significantly. The white lights makes everything look clean and crisp inside and there's plenty of room on the doors for lots of items. I also like the fold-in shelf which is convenient for tall bottles. The hot water feature on the door, which I was very attracted to, is a bit complicated and I can't seem to get it right. The doors are extremely bulky when they're fully open as compared to side by side doors, requiring at least 6" more on the width than side-by-side or traditional one-door refrigerators, so plan accordingly. BUT, my main complaint is the loud and constant low frequency noise this fridge makes!! - much louder than any other fridges I've had. GE, is there any way to lessen this noise?? It is a nightmare for anyone cooking or trying to spend quiet time close to this beautiful fridge.

I own an Appliance Repair company. I repair all makes and chose the GE Cafe refrigerator because they are dependable.

Disappointed, not a fan

We had this model for less than a month and already had several service items such as a new seal on ice maker and new water meter valve. Plus, refrigerator temperature was not holding the set temperature and was getting too cold.
The most significant issue which can not be fixed according to the tech is the slow trickle of water pressure from the dispenser. Another flaw is that you can’t set a fill amount for the water dispenser and have to hold the cup there until fill. I wouldn’t buy this model again especially at this price point.
