Not impressed

I thought this fridge would be perfect in my space. I’m on my fourth fridge and none seem to cool correctly. The inside of the fridge feels so cheap. You would think for this high price tag, everything would be working correctly. This will be the last time I buy a ge product. They don’t stand behind their products in any way.

Don't waste your money

Only owned this refrigerator for 6 months and the touch screen is complete unresponsive. At first the touch screen went crazy, selecting random settings on its own, then stopped working all together. The water and ice dispenser work, but you can find much cheaper models with those functions. I wanted the hot water feature, and now I can't access it. Total waste of money. This is my first GE experience and I am not impressed. With some digging, this seems to be a common issue. I was going to replace all of my appliances with this line. After this experience, I will go another route, but need to decide what to do with this fridge.

Nice looking…..BUT!

If you just care about staring at a beautiful refrigerator, this one is for you! Other than that steer clear of GE! In a year and a half, I’ve had my refrigerator replaced twice and now it will soon be a third time. I could understand if it had been replaced once but I’m about to have my fourth. The first, the freezer never worked. The second, the hot water feature stopped working. It would literally pour water all over my wood floors, and the third time after replacing all of the parts in the door and trying to replace the whole door, the Kurig still doesn’t work. Save yourself the headache and choose a different pretty, FUNCTIONAL refrigerator!

Waste of good money -

The Cafe line was a option we bought up to in order to get a premium quality fridge. Since we have owned it's have had constant temperature control problems. Interior temp not matching up with the reading or setting. We unplug for a minute and then it works for days or weeks then gets off again. This time we are now freezing the Deli Drawer Items and see ice accumulation near the back of the drawer. Of course research shows MULTIPLE Videos of this an people changing fans and dampers. I'm pretty sure GE know's this is a problem but likely wont cover it if were out of warranty. I also see there is really no differences in the Build of this Cafe' vs the other series of GE's - Profile for example.

Terrible

Refrigerator stopped working after a week. Waiting over a week to have someone come look at it. Not good at all!

Horrible finger prints, doesn’t get cold enough

While the refrigerator looks good and matches all of the other Cafe appliances we bought, it’s performance is disappointing. For starters, the refrigerator doesn’t get cold enough even when set at the lowest temperature of 34 with the highest humidity setting. Food doesn’t keep as long as my old Kenmore. Not to mention, all of these over-priced cafe appliances fingerprint like crazy. My old beat up Kenmore kept food colder and longer when set at 40 degrees… and the Kenmore didn’t finger print.

Damaged, does work

Having waited for several months for this average refrigerator to arrive at our new home and then finding the factory installed water filter damaged to the point water leaked everywhere, back panel crushed and it doesn’t work really made me feel I made a poor choice. Unfortunately I need this unit to match the rest of my Cafe appliances. Fortunately the retailer picked it up and dropped off a working “loaner”. Not sure when or if I will get a replacement within the next few months.
