Great features , quality could be better

We had this refrigerator for 3 months but unfortunately the fridge stopped cooling , as well as, the freezer. The compressor was bad so far little over a week without the refrigerator, disappointed
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wonderful Refrigerator

I just love the refrigerator. It is the best I have ever owned. The water, ice cube , crushed ice and the hot water heater are amazing! And the lighting in the refrigerator is so bright I can see everything !
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cafe French Door Fridge

The layout of this fridge is nice. Not sure of the benefit of wi-if (seems like a gimmick). Also, it was a real bummer trying to remove the protective film. It’s like GE assembled this with the film on - are we supposed to disassemble to remove? The LED lights are nice. Would be nice if owner could set time on Door Alarm (can be annoying). Think about cleanability a little more when you design products, especially in the kitchen…lots of cracks and crevices where parts come together on this fridge. QC on insulation foam is subpar (foam oozing out in several places around the door - see attached pic). Sorry to ding your NPS, but this is a significant spend for my family. Thanks for opportunity to chime in.

Really happy w/ look & capacity

We really like to look of the product and the capacity is great for our needs but some of the features need to some further thinking.
1. Removing the drawers for cleaning should not require an advanced degree in spatial geometry and the users manual provided no information.
2. The pull out for the water dispenser is great, but the single unit at a time adjustment for the precision fill is painful. Also the doing a precision dispense should not require pressing the actuator.
3. Interactions with wifi devices i.e. Amazon Alexa, Google Home, could be greatly improved.
4. Adding photos to the display is a great feature, not being able to transfer them wirelessly is ridiculous. Really who has a USB drive anymore.

It's Awesome, with lots of room.

We really like the fridge. I had to turn the temperature lower than I expected to keep it cool, but it does the job. The hot water feature is awesome, and only takes a few minutes to warm up. I do wish there was better information published about the hot water feature though. For example, I thought it was instant hot water, which it is not. I also did not know it would only dispense 10 ounces of hot water at a time. Most of my cups are 16 ounces, so I have to heat the water twice. Despite that, it's still faster than using the tea kettle on the stove.

lots of space. hot water is a fun add-on, like that I can heat from phone or Alexa. Wish the custom hardware kit wasn't so expensive.

Bad value for the Money, not working,

Bought this as part of the new home appliance CAFE set. Fridge makes too much noise. It is programed to make water filter change every 30 days. Filter is too expensive with RFID (GE is too greedy on this design). No generic filter will work.
Its just been 6 years, fridge already stopped working.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
