Never thought I’d love a refrigerator!

I absolutely love our new Café Refrigerator! It has become the focal point of our kitchen. It’s beauty and elegance will fit into any decorating style. The functionality of it fits exceptionally well with our household of 7. Precise fill is used often when we cook. The hot water feature comes in handy often as well. Thank you for a terrific product.

We love this Fridge! After purchasing different brands over the years we are so happy to have found Cafe and will definitely replace all of our appliances with this brand. It’s reliable, spacious and has some great features. My kids love the hot water maker.

Some changes needed

While there are many things I like about the refrigerator, there are some changes I'd like to see....The two upper doors only open to 90 degrees. They should open all the way so that the deli tray could be removed without having to remove one of the shelves on the door. I'd like another shallow drawer in the freezer. We had frost on the side of the freezer, visible from the outside. It turned out to be a bad gasket. And the fridge was only a couple of months old! Otherwise, it's a good fridge.

We're so sorry to hear you had an issue with one of the door gaskets as that is very unusual on a model so new. It is important that we clarify one point you made regarding the door swing on this model. If you do not have a wall or some other cabinet or appliance impeding the doors from opening fully, they are designed to open a full 130-150 degrees to allow you to easily remove the full width deli tray. We encourage you to call GE service at 1-800-432-2737 to have the refrigerator doors checked. We will also be happy to share your feedback regarding the need for an additional freezer drawer. Great size with some good design elements

We love how big it is and the layout inside is pretty awesome. You can see a lot of what's inside without digging around too much and there are some great options for moving shelves, etc. The lighting is also great. We love the hot water function on the water dispenser and the preset temps. It would be great to be able to set a temp on the normal water that comes out all the time (i.e. not have it as cold or make it colder). There are some design misses like with the bottom drawer, you can't remove it very easily at all if you need to clean the inside. If you think you'll be hosting folks and/or needing ice, buy a separate ice maker for sure! The built in ice maker is pretty terrible, though admittedly I don't have a whole lot of other examples to compare it to. All I know is I'm disappointed with the volume of this one and the functionality in that it constantly freezes, thaws, re-freezes causing massive chunks to build up and the dispenser to not work without me breaking the ice up. This happens between every day to day use.

I LOVE MY NEW CAFE REFRIGERATOR! NOT ONLY IS IT BEAUTIFUL, BUT COOLS NICELY AND HAS LOTS OF ROOM FOR ALL MY COLD PRODUCTS. THE ICEMAKER IS VERY RELIABLE WITH NICE SIZED ICE. I LOVE ALL THE BELLS AND WHISTLES! THE BLUETOOTH IS EASY TO CONNECT. IT IS SO NICE TO HAS ACCESS TO MY FRIG AND ITS FUNCTIONS RIGHT AT MY FINGER TIPS!!
