Bad quality - very disappointed

This fridge is beautiful on the outside but don’t be fooled. The quality is that of any other consumer appliance manufactured in this era. We preordered this unit during our renovation, waited 5 months for it to arrive and were so excited. We’ve owned this fridge for less than 3 years and the main board and diverter valve have gone bad. The quality does not match the price with this appliance. Very disappointed, thought we’d get at least 5+ years from a brand like GE but unfortunately that wasn’t the case.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are so happy with this refrigerator. If fills all our family of 4 needs. Always ice (big factor), and space for food storage.

This is one of the worst refrigerators for the price. Ours is loud, the touch screen stopped working, the drawers are hard to clean, the temperature control and light on the bottom drawer have gone out. The air flow causes condensation on cooler items frequently. I do not recommend this product.

One drawback is the capacity of the filters which you need to reorder.

Not a long lasting refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love reading reviews but so rare is it to find one where the user has owned the appliance for 5+ years, I have. My GE Cafe Refrigerator with water dispenser stopped working after only 4 years of use! The compressor stopped working to circulate the cold air to keep the refrigerator cold. After purchasing and installing a new one, it has stopped working again, 1.5 years later, along with the door sensor and water control also no longer functioning correctly. Had I known that this would happen, I would have bought a refrigerator with less gimmicks, like a hot water heater and just a box that kept food cold and frozen. So this is a warning to research other brands or models that are less likely to break so soon after purchase. I expected this refrigerator to last at least 10+ years.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Beautiful, functional, would buy again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this fridge for 6 months now, and feel pretty solid in my opinion. I think overall this fridge is great. It's beautiful, I always get a ton of compliments on it, it's functional, has great storage capacity, the ice maker is great, I use the hot water function every so often. All around I am very pleased. I would really give this 4.5 stars if I could, because the only issue thus far is recently a very loud noise has started. It comes and goes, and is there less often than not, so I'm hoping it isn't a permanent new sound. Otherwise, no other real complaints.
I would recommend this to a friend!
