Very Disappointed

Purchased this expensive frech door GE Cafe refrigerator with many features. This past week, the refrigerator was not cooling in the large refrigerator compartment where the internal temperature is 65 degrees. Upon further investigation, the touch screen does not work when areas are pressed. We tried turning the frig off for a period of time but this did not resolve the problem. The refrigerator was purchased mid 2017 and is just ofer 4 years old. We previous had a GE profile side by side refrigerator that served us well for over 15 years.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

AWWWESOME!!

In 44 years of marriage I have never seen my wife this excited about an appliance. She is over the moon about Cafe Fridge. She keeps finding features she likes. I now have husband points to last me through the next decade even if I am naughty!

Good interior space and shelving

Overall this unit fits our needs very well. The major complaint is that it is unable to maintain interior temperature in bot freezer and refrigerator sections washout compensating with lower settings. Both sections are 3-4 degrees above factory settings.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there - Thanks for the review. We're glad that overall you're pleased with your refrigerator and that it's meeting your family's needs. We are very sorry to hear that the temperature in the freezer and refrigerator sections are unable to be maintained.
The recommended settings are 0 degrees F in the freezer and 37 degrees in the fresh food compartment. Make sure that both the freezer and refrigerator contain a reasonable food load. This is because the items in the refrigerator absorb the cold and actually work to help the refrigerator maintain a steady temperature. Also, check to see if large containers are placed against the back wall of the refrigerator. Large containers in back may block the flow of cold air and adversely affect the temperatures in the refrigerator. Move tall items forward so they don't block the air flow.

Love the Hot Tap Water for Tea!

Love the Hot Tap Water for my tea, just wish it was a bit quicker, and could heat up more than 10 ounces. Most mugs are more than 10 ounces. Also, it’s great to put in how many ounces you want it to fill, but would be great if you didn’t have to press the container against the contact for the water to come out. Overall, I am very happy with it, but I am looking forward to the few improvements I suggested before I buy my next one.
