Very unreliable

I bought this camera about three months ago. It worked well for three weeks! It stopped recording activity in the monitored area, tried reseting and sometimes it works for a short period and then stops. This is an ongoing daily event!!!! It also stops transmitting live video. All up it appears to be a very bad investment. Tried ringing their support, gave up after 8 minutes of waiting.
Very unhappy!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are sorry to hear about the issues you are having with the Swann camera. There may be some settings to adjust or the camera may be using an outdated firmware. We recommend speaking with technical support so they may investigate this. As for the hold time, we do attempt to keep customers on hold for as little as possible, However, in some cases, there are a higher number of calls that come in randomly. This causes the hold time to be longer than expected.

I must say this camera was super easy to hook up. Everything was provided and explained clearly. On the plus side, further information was obtainable from the manual.

Not usable with Android 10

Our application developer is currently working on updating the Safe by Swann app to work with iOS 13/Android 10. We do not have an estimated date of release yet. Brilliant wireless camera

We bought the wireless floodlight security camera. Very pleased with the camera. App works well on my Samsung galaxy note 3. Only problem was we had to change the router to 2.4 Ghz. Swann customer service were very helpful. All in all very pleased. As we have a long drive 15 mtrs camera kicks in about 8 mtrs would be good if range was longer but still happy
I would recommend this to a friend!

Won’t work with Alexa in Ireland

If you are planning on linking this camera with Alexa and living in Ireland save your money and look elsewhere, I was duped , no mention from either company that the “ safe by swann app does not work in Ireland. After speaking to numerous tech people who were no the wiser , took it upon myself to search !
