They just need to tell the true about these cameras I purchased the cameras and had 15 days to install them then I ran in trouble trying to get them to work right since June 17,2020 and they still don't work right every time It rain the cameras go out they are not for out side.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So far I am satisfied with my new system. The only thing I feel is antiquated is the included mouse. In 2018 for $0 more it could/should be a wireless mouse.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture quality is amazing. I went online and used there video tutorials to set it up. I set it up on a table in my house before i ran wires and mounted the cameras. Setup is simple if you follow the step by step video tutorial. The picture is amazing and the night vision is awesome!
They all do what they are supposed to do - give you 8 channels of security video. My first had DVD picture quality. Not bad. My second had 720p HD cameras and that was much better picture quality. Both allowed you to see your cameras on your phone over the internet, but the setup was hard and the lag and frame rate was bad enough I never used it.
I got this one when my last one died, and my main purchase priority was compatibility with my existing cameras. It has worked perfectly since day one, and was very easy to set up. Testing the user interface, I was pleased to see I could 'zoom in' to a picture with my mouse scroll wheel! Awesome! I also had a couple of the older cameras that needed replacing, so I put in two of the 5MP that came with it, and the picture quality is great!

Easy process from beginning to end. Ordering was easy, shipping fast, setup is unbelievably easy, features are great. Ordered it for my office, I am going to order another to replace the Ring system at my house. This Swann system does not glitch and the features are phenomenal.
