Peace of mind!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I own a business and we have not been able to afford professional security at this time so we have always relied on security cameras we have purchased. The previous security camera system was never reliable. After I received the Swan security system, I thought my husband and I would need to call someone to install the system but everything that we needed was included and within a few hours we had it installed and ready to go. We have been very pleased with these security cameras in the time that we have had them installed. The picture quality has been excellent and videos very sharp. The cameras even have built-in mics for audio recording. I really like The HomeSafe View app so that when we are at home we can check in on the cameras at our and have peace of mind knowing our business is safe.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fantastic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These were amazing. Easy set up, easy use. Went up and only took my husband about an hour to set everything up, maybe a little longer. The pictures are clear as day. We were super excited to be able to check on our hosue no matter where we are. These went great outside, couldn't even tell they were really there. Small enough to not be noticble but big enough to capture everything needed. We were all very pleased with these. Great set of security cameras and fantastic name brand to go with it.

Before I wasn't sure on how to use it so the notifications got annoying but I was able to adjust it and have it record constantly which is what I needed.

Not as advertised

I bought this DVR couple months ago
lights and sirens dont work, firmware says it up to date....
teck support wasnt helpful, very poorly trained.
not what id expect from a multi billion dollar company

Cameras go blank

I bought this a month ago and wish I hadn’t. The cameras lose connectivity with the DVR. I must disconnect and reconnect for them to restart. They have agreed to replace one, but now another is doing it also. And they require the camera to be sent back before they will replace. I have installed the problem camera 2 stories high. And because their processes are so arduous I wish I had gone with someone else. The software on the DVR is not intuitive.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor mounting bracket design

The mounting bracket on these cameras is poorly designed. I need to be able to physically adjust/point the camera vertically and horizontally to where I want it once it's mounted. This bracket only allows a 90 degree vertical adjustment in one direction which severely limits how you can mount this camera. The bracket should also have a 180 degree vertical adjustment so you can mount it from a ceiling if you wish.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this few days ago and we try to set up for the system for around 2 days and still not working right THE PIR AND MOTION always fails the the alarm settings I save it and when the system change to night vision thePIR and MOTION don't work anymore and the
system change by itself the setting, first time I use this brand and never try this brand
again.

PIR sensors work optimally when the camera is mounted around looking down somewhat and the subject of detection passes across their front. The more the object must "cross" the front of the camera the better the detection reliability. When placing your camera try to avoid situations where the subject would move straight toward the camera if possible. This is explained in the manual but can be further instructed by our support team. Swann Smart Security System 4k

I have just purchased this product and am very pleased with it. After seeing my friend with the same system and how happy he was with it, I decided to go out and purchase one myself. It is a great system that is very easy to use. The installation was simple and quick, the 4K camera quality is fantastic both during the day and at night. It is an overall great product. I would recommend this to anyone.
