Fantastic device

I have the digital paper for over year and it is my favorite electronic device by far. As an academic, it is the perfect device for comfortably reading PDFs, annotating them (e.g. when I am editing or reviewing papers), and writing extensive notes. The e-ink is much better on my eyes and allows me to work for hours without fatigue or distraction. Highly recommended!!

I have an older Digital Paper model, version DPT-S1. It works great and especially the battery life is awesome. It is my go-to device for reading long pdf files. I get migraines from reading too long on my tablets so this is great. However, I a a little confused. It seemed like Sony discontinued this line of product for a while. Am I able to update my tablet’s software through this website? Is the pen sold with this new line of product compatible with my older model? Thank you.

Good for text/forms, graphs/diagrams hsrd to read

I love using this to take notes, read papwes and fill out forms but half of the papers I read have diagrams/charts/tables that are hard to read or can't be read owing to the low pixel density, ~226 ppi vs ~350-500 expected.
Charging the stylus is a but annoying too and the latency isn't great but relatively minor concerns for me vs resolution and lack of Google drive e integration.

Good but the battery life of stylus is very short

I have a DPT-CP1 but the battery life of stylus is very short about 2~3 days even if I can't use it. Is it necessary for this stylus to power off ?

Will not connect to any device with any connection. Have tried: Android phone, PC, Mac, Iphone, using Wifi, USB cord, bluetooth, NFC. This is less useful than a piece of paper, period.
