The easiest way to make bread

I was very impressed with this bread maker. From the very beginning when i unpacked it and put it together it was easy. It was well packaged and there were only a couple of parts of the unit to put together. The recipes that are included with the directions are easy to full and very complete, and most importantly they are tasty when made. I haven't had it for long but it all seems very sturdy and i think it is going to last, which is good because i want to use it for a long time. The only down side to it is the unit itself looks a bit dated its appearance does not really fit in with my stainless appliances. However i can over look that because the bread it produces is excellent and that's what matters.

Perfect for a Busy House

I received this product as a sample from Oster and I immediately fell in love with it. It has because an almost every day staple in my life. It's sleek design and size allows it to slide perfectly under my cabinets on my counter top. Now lets get to the bread! I am admittedly a newbie when it comes to making bread in a bread-maker, i have traditionally made bread by hand in the oven. I will never do that again with my new bread maker. It is so convenient to put in the ingredients and then just set a timer for the morning. What is even better is that I can set my crust to be extra dark: just the way I love it!!
I cant stress enough how this was a game-changer for me. I highly recommend this product, especially for those that love a fresh loaf of bread in the morning.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I received this bread maker as a sample. I felt that it was average at best. I did not feel that any of the features were anything that I had not seen on older bread makers that I had used in the past. The only real benefit I saw was that it was much smaller and modern looking. This did make it more convenient for storage and use on my counter top. If I were shopping for bread makers I would consider this one only if the pricing was right.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good Bread Maker

This breadmaker was very easy to use following the instructions and recipes provided. It seems that using this machine anyone can make bread as long as you follow the instructions, measure the ingredients very accurately, and use fresh ingredients. I've made two loaves, one on the Basic setting with a medium crust and the other on the French setting with a light crust. They both came out tasty, however I will admit that my second loaf collapsed a little on top. This was disappointing, but it still tasted good. From what I've read online this is probably a result of the recipe and not the machine itself. The machine did well mixing the ingredients, although I did have to use a rubber spatula to push some of the ingredients down from the corners during the first kneading cycle. I didn't have to do anything after that! The bread baked evenly on both the light and medium crust settings. Both breads came out of the pan easily. It was a bit of a challenge to get the kneading blade out of the the bread that was baked on the medium crust setting but it was not a problem at all on the light setting. I would recommend this machine for everyone, especially beginners. I look forward to trying other recipes, particularly making pizza crust and jam. (Yes, it says you can make jam!)

Oster Kneads No Intro, Bakes Beautiful Bread

This breadmaker made a family of three very happy with its easy operation and flavorful fresh bread. The light brown crust and chewy warm middle was a hit with or without butter and jam spread over the slices. The first loaf lasted only one afternoon with grilled cheese sandwiches finishing off the last 4 pieces. Removal and cleanup was easy with the snap-in and out non-stick baking pan.
When I tried the ExpressBake feature, the lighter texture was a hit with younger family members, especially since the aroma didn't madden them for hours. They could dig in right away. With a delicious end result, multiple settings and explicit, easy recipes, five stars is my rating for this Oster. I did receive this breadmaker as a sample to review.

Easy to Use, Great Results

This breadmaker is a bit larger than I expected, and being made of plastic I do wonder if it will hold up overtime, but it does a great job of baking bread. The different functions are easy to use, with buttons for selecting crust darkness and type of bread. The delay timer is great for having fresh baked bread waiting when I come home from work or for Sunday morning breakfast. For the price, it is great quality.

Good standard bread maker

This is a good overall bread maker but may not hold up for heavy use. The basic bread recipe turned out well. We didn't like the quick bake bread as much. The whole wheat recipe did not work well but I was using freshly milled wheat and the recipe may not have been designed for a coarser ground. The machine seemed to struggle with mixing the heavier consistency of the whole wheat bread.
