Amazing!!

I was pleasantly surprised with this machine. The directions were very easy to understand and were written very clearly. The machine itself took up very little space so I didn't have to rearrange my kitchen. the features available allowed me to make several types of breads with ease incuding whole wheat to sweet breads. I was also able to sneak in other ingredients and my kids had no idea they had a piece of bread with a veggie cooked right into it. Very easy to clean and store.

Love love love Oster

I received the Oster bread maker as a sample to try out. I have always talked about buying one but, I figured it would not get used that much. However, since receiving it I am loving how easy it is to make bread. It is super easy to use. It takes about three hours to complete the loaf.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great for Beginners and Experienced Breadmakers

The Oster 2 lb. bread maker works exceptionally well. I was quite pleased with how the bread turned out. It came with an instruction booklet that was very detailed and ready with recipes. The machine is very easy to use. The only real critique I have, is the display panel does not sit perfectly within the groups built into the machine. However, despite that, it is not a real concern. The bread was delicious, the recipes were easy, and I would recommend this for beginners and experienced breadmakers alike. Disclaimer: I did receive this product as a sample for review.

Decent Bread Machine

I got this bread machine about a month ago. I have used it 4 times. I decided to try making recipes in the book that came with the machine. All 4 times the bread didn't turn out right.
First off the measurements for the liquids are very odd measurements so it's hard to be accurate. I tried my best all 4 times with no luck.
Second, the loafs were never shaped right. They were all very odd shaped. I ended up just throw in them all away.
Lastly, the bread was very dense. It was like a rock. My family and I could even begin to eat it.
I was hoping to find a way to make bread that was easy and not time consuming. This bread machine doesn't help me achieve this goal.
I will be trying another bread maker in the future!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No Frills, Simple to Use Breadmaker

This bread maker is simple to set up and use. It's nothing fancy, but does what it's suppose to do. Make sure to read the manual and be familiar with the different settings, bread making is not an exact science, as different factors may affect the outcome. So it will take some experimenting with your ingredients to figure out the best settings and time for what you are trying to make.
It is simple to use and easy to clean up, so bake away!

Love this thing

I love this thing. I had one years ago that i wasn't very happy with, but this one was less intidating to actually use. I like combining this with a crock pot and having a whole meal ready an hour later. I wish it had a different finish, but the one i have was part of product testing so it is just white.

As Someone that would be considers a novice at bread baking the Oster was a easy and efficient way to make bread at home. I found that the bread maker does not require a lot of bread making Knowledge the express setting was easy to use to get a loaf of bread in a bit over a hour.so over all if you have the time to do this great deal and not a bad value.

The oyster bread maker is the perfect product for anyone who want to make homemade bread. All you have to do is measure out the specific ingredients you need and put it in the bread maker and it does everything else for you. It makes life so much easier with the simple options which makes making bread really easy. This is the perfect gift for anyone who are beginners when it comes to baking! however one thing I disliked was how unattractive the bottom was because of the tool it uses for kneading the dough and sometimes the bread texture was not as nice as I would like it to be compared to breads I would make with my kitchen aid. Also many times I made the bread it would collapse which was very disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
