I love this bread maker!

I am very happy with this bread maker! It isn't listed as for gluten free bread, but reading up, I discovered that you can make it on the whole wheat setting. I really like the expressbake setting. It's great for "last minute" dinner plans changing, or for making to bring to a friend. I prefer the regular, longer setting though. I'm thrilled that I can make something for my gluten sensitive family members too. It's very easy to clean also.

Mmmm... Fresh Bread!

Actually, 4 1/2 stars!! I have done a lot of baking including quick breads, but had always wanted to try bread from scratch! I always imagined doing the mixing/kneading by hand and feel a little umm... guilty? like I'm cheating myself?... using a machine, but honestly -- it's wonderful! I've made 2 recipes from the included booklet (100% Whole Wheat and Raisin Bread twice) so far and both have been delicious.
This bread machine is a good, relatively compact, size and while I might have loved it in black, the white and the overall design is simple and clean looking. Lightweight enough to easily move for use and storage. It's affordably priced and a good value from the list and advertised prices I've seen. The beeping signal is a bit louder than I need and the kneading operation is a little noisy, but not too bad and to decrease noise with more size/insulation would surely add to the price and weight.
I love the simplicity of just putting ingredients in the pan, pan in the machine, and soon smelling the bread baking. Makes cleanup easy with just the measuring tools and pan to wash! So far the operation has been good and smooth. I did keep an eye on it (the window in lid is great for this, and you can open lid as needed during operation) and did need to scrape sides of pan during first knead of larger wheat recipe, to prevent dough being pushed up over edge - so that is a possible negative, but manageable for me.
A couple of tips! Do read the instruction booklet from the beginning - it offers good clear instruction and tips, but I found it a little misleading when the best general instructions for using the bread machine are placed as part of the first recipe for 'Traditional White Bread'... I also thought I'd share what I found in another review online - I haven't tried this yet, but sounds like a great tip to remove the kneading blade before the final rise stage to avoid possibly having it stick in bottom of bread loaf. Also, apparently the 'Special Winter Bread' recipe is missing the key ingredient of 1 1/4 teaspoon salt... but now you know ;-)

I have used this bread maker a few times and I have been very impressed! It is easy to use, the bread tastes great, and clean up is a breeze! The recipes that are included are easy and delicious!!! I received this product as a sample for review and I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family!

As a newbie to breadmakers, I wasn't sure what to expect from this one, but I was pleasantly surprised at the general ease of use. I read through the guide, and while I found it a bit confusing with the different setting details that you have to pay close attention to, I understand that with bread making and baking in general, accuracy is important. It was helpful to have the notes, cautions, and troubleshooting in the manual. It would be nice if it contained more help for when you are using recipes other than those in the manual. I made loaves using a manual recipe, and also with those i found online. The Expressbake feature is nice, but I think that because the majority of the bread you make will be with the other settings, it is slightly misleading as the title of the product. I used it once, and it did a very nice job with a pizza crust type bread, which turned out with a perfect look and consistency. I did have an issue with one of my loaves that didn't mix completely on the sides, and when it came out, it didn't look very pretty. I also had an issue with the paddle coming out and lodging in the bottom of the bread, which you then have to dig out. The window is nice for watching the progress of the bread. I like the look and quietness of the product, and I didn't experience any shaking or jumping during the process. Overall, I think it works really great, is easy to use if you pay attention to the guide, and is especially nice for quick breads using the Expressbake feature. I received this product as a sample to review.

What a great bread maker! It literally does all the work for you! Just add ingredients, turn on and In no time fresh bread! It so fun and easy my kids even ask to do it with me! Would highly recommend this product!! I was selected to test this product and and so happy I was! It was a pleasure

Super Easy!!!

So far I am enjoying my bread machine. I have used it a few times. I have tried the basic white bread recipe and it has turned out nice, but it has been a bit heavy and slightly doughy despite using the medium crust setting. Still need to experiment more. I have tried the basic french bread directions and so far I have liked it the best I think. However I took a tip from a couple people who use bread machines all the time, and activated the yeast prior to adding to the machine. I don't know if it made a difference but time will tell. Being a first time bread machine user I find it very simple to use. Instructions and easy to follow. It does get a bit noisy during the mixing stages but that is to be expected. Over all, I am enjoying it, and enjoying the fresh bread!

Amazing Product!!

I give this product 4.5 stars. The design is very sleek and streamline. It was extremely easy to use. I especially like the EXPRESSBAKE feature. The instructions and recipe guide were very easy to follow and not overly verbose like other bread makers I've had. The only thing I would like to see that would make it better would be if it came with a measuring cup and spoons, like others do. But that's just being picky. I plan on buying one of these bread makers for my sister for her birthday!!
