There's nothing better than homemade bread.

It seems to have a personality as the robot spindle whips ingredients into shape. I like adding soup mixes to mine. Milk has made it too spongy so I add only water, oil & yeast. Egg makes it not form so good as it tastes better without. Adding sugar too makes it so sweet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very disappointed

I have used the bread maker 4 times since receiving it. I am not at all impress with this machine. I made the recipes in the book and they were very hard to follow. The measurements were hard to achieve because they were odd. The bread didn't mix right and I got bread blobs instead of loads. They were like rock hard and just gross and not eatable. I wanted the machine to make homemade bread and not have to worry it if mixed right and came out a loaf. This machine doesn't achieve that goal for me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Same issue - collapsing loaf

We have been making our own bread forever, and after our other bread-maker wore out, we bought this model. Shouldn't have. We read the instructions manual cover to cover, were extremely careful in the measurements, used fresh ingredients - at room tempreture experimented with different types of bread and recipes to "become one with the machine", and it has never worked. Our loaves have always collapsed, without except. Lucky you if you can get a decent loaf - for us...the machine to going back to the store....It's been a waste of time, and ingredients! Buyer beware.

Easy Fresh Bread

This bread maker is really easy to use and I loved having fresh bread when I needed it. Very easy to follow instructions and the fresh warm bread is much healthier than that store bought stuff. The bread maker comes with a cookbook with several types of breads you can make. The only problem I had was that the bread basket is hard to insert and remove from the machine but other than that it worked well. I received this product as a sample to review.

Love the express bake feature!

This is a very sleek looking machine that looks sturdy and very simple to operate. I first tried the white express bake bread. It came out good, except the top was very light, appearing as if the bread did not bake all the way, but it was. Then I tried the Italian herb French bread. The top collapsed during baking, but I think it was due to my daughter tapping on the glass because she was watching through the viewing window and getting excited about the bread getting "fat". Overall, I think this is a good bread maker and will be trying other recipes that came with it. I do need to disclaim that I received this machine free to test out and give my honest opinion.

What a great bread maker!

The Oster 2 lb. bread maker is awesome! It is super easy to use. It comes with its own recipe book and has many great and delicious recipes. Any cook from beginner to experienced will be able to make tasty breads. It has multiple settings to make anything from a loaf of plain white bread or dough for yummy butter rolls. I had a great time baking with it and my family loved everything I made. It has a nice sleek and fairly compact design that looks nice in your kitchen. I received the bread maker as a sample to try and boy am I glad I tried it! The Oster 2 lb. bread maker is great. Highly recommend it.

This product seems to be a decent value. It is easy to use and bakes bread consistently. The only reasons I gave it 4 stars is that the lid is connected but it is not a sturdy connection I feel like it may break easily. The other reason is that the bread carriage clicks into metal clips inside the bread maker and those clips don't exactly make getting the bread pan out easy, it takes a good amount of effort to unseat the pan from the clips. This review was posted after receiving this product to test free of charge.
