If the dishwasher did not have a light on the front, I would not know it was running. The third shelf solves the problem with washing long kitchen utensils

What a treat!

Our last GE Monogram dishwasher lasted 17 years with no problems until old age hit. This latest model is stunning with a little music when the door is opened, easy to use shelves for loading/unloading, lighted interior and most surprisingly it is so quiet that it's hard to know it's actually working. Great appliance.

This dishwasher just works! Everything I expected and more. Much quieter than I expected. Basically cannot hear it run. The adjustable shelves are sturdy. The zone wash is a great feature for small loads. Cleans and dries well. Love love love it

I can hardly hear this dishwasher running. It emits an occasional gurgle when draining, but that's it! Kudos to the designers ... and I couldn't even install all of the sound deadening material provided as the opening we have is quite tight. It also does a good job cleaning, and manages to do it with less forceful water than older dishwashers. This is desirable as light weight plastic containers don't end up turned over and full of water. My only complaint is that the racks don't seem to be as accomodating of a variety of larger bowls, pans, etc. as my previous dishwasher was, but it may be that it's new and I've just not figured out the best way to utilize what I've got.

You can actually run this dishwasher while you’re entering or watching TV WITHOUT anyone even knowing,it’s super quiet.
This is our 2nd cafe purchase we like our first so much for our 2nd home it was a easy decision.
