We recommend resetting your dishwasher by disconnecting power from the unit for 2 - 3 minutes and reconnecting power. If this reset does not revert the unit back to normal operating function, this will require service by a qualified technician. You can schedule an appointment with a GE Appliances technician by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm

Garbage product. Racks all rusted out within 18 months which is just long enough for 1 year parts warranty to expire. Loud when running. Had in 5 years and have to replace because pump went out and it will not drain water anymore.

Worst Dishwasher ever
on November 20, 2021

This is the worst dishwasher I have ever owned. The racks are rusting and are only 2 years old. The water builds up in the bottom of the filter and doesn't drain, causing it to smell. GE, technology is much better than what it was 20 years ago, yet your product is horrible. I am a shareholder of GE as well and this is making me think twice about my investment

Broke within a year and a half

Had a home built and requested GE appliances due to previous experience with their products. About a month ago the dishwasher started to beep out of the blue. Also completely losses power and it needs to be unplugged and plugged back in to reset each day. Not what I expected from a piece of equipment that traditionally lasts a very long time. The warranty was only one year and I am 1.5 into the warranty so the cost now becomes mine to fix a flaw from the manufacturer. I am typically brand loyal, but I will not be purchasing another GE product because of this issue. Buyers beware.
