Terrible Dishwasher

I would give this dishwasher 0 stars if possible. It stopped working after 4 years. It never cleaned the dishes well. I always had to wash the dishes prior to loading the dishwasher. The dishwasher constantly needed to be cleaned on the inside.

We got our dishwasher with the purchase of our home 4yrs ago ,have used it 10 times stopped working out of nowhere... will definitely not be purchasing anymore GE products!!!!!

Stopped working after less than a year, we spent a few hundred to replace the control board. It worked for 6 months and then the user interface interface control board. Worthless, do yourself a favor and get a Samsung

Terrible. Brand new December 2020. Came to the webisite to buy new racks due to the rust. Trying to post pictures here, however that option isn’t working.

Avoid at all cost!

This dishwasher stopped working after 4 years. Maybe you think a dishwasher is meant to only last that long. I certainly don’t. Along with our GE fridge that has required service three times in 4 years, I don’t think I’ll be buying GE ever again.

Rusty racks too expensive to replace!

The dishwasher works fine but rusty racks are ridiculous and are ruining dishes. We have had this for 4 years and the rust started showing up at about the second year. New racks should not cost approximately 3/4 of a new unit.

It won't turn on! Only 4 years old

This is very disappointing. Our house was built in 2020 and all the appliances are GE. So far, my microwave stopped working all of a sudden a couple of months ago and now my dishwasher has stopped turning on. It has happened a couple of times before that it stops turning on, then a couple of days go by and then it turns on and works fine. Then again, it stops working. On and off. Now, it's been a week and it doesn't turn on!

Recall?

Does this dishwasher have a recall? I have had the exact same problem as everyone else that has written a review. My dishwasher was installed in 2020. Within the past few months (during Thanksgiving and Christmas) my dishwasher has stopped working, then randomly turns on. It isn’t working now. Shouldn’t the motherboard last longer than 4 years?

This dishwasher does not currently have a recall. We recommend resetting your dishwasher by disconnecting power from the unit for 2 - 3 minutes and reconnecting power. If this reset does not revert the unit back to normal operating function, this will require service by a qualified technician.
