Mediocre cleaning

The "Normal" cycle does not clean everything. I always have to use the "High" cycle for 2.5 hours.

Cleans well, but doesn’t dry

I like the layout of my dishwasher, find it easy to load and unload, and it does a good job on getting things clean. However, the drying feature is poor, even with the additional boost. Water pools on glasses on top rack and I have to hand dry to avoid spots.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Traditional dish washers I’ve grew up with had buttons displayed on the front of the machines. This one is actually displayed on the top of the door as you open it which is child proof for my youngest inquisitive child.

This thing is LOUD. I thought an air compressor was running inside the first time we turned it on and went running to find the noise.

Noisy Dishwasher

Dishwasher is very noisy. You can even hear it from outside the house.
We have had a repair guy out 3 times and he replaced a few parts each time with no success in correcting the issue. GE refused to replaced it and now we have a noisy dishwasher that is no longer under warranty.

We built a new home and received this GE dishwasher. Came with the house. Used it 2 weeks and then it stopped working. After 2 service calls and replacement parts, still not working. New part ordered, will be installed late next week. By then we will have been 2 month without a working dishwasher.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
