Poor quality product

We have a GE GDT53PSMOSS dishwasher that came with our new construction home at the end of 2019. The water stopped pumping out of it today. According to Consumer Reports, dishwashers normally lasty about ten years. A major part malfunctioning in less than two and a half years is totally unacceptable. I have used GE products for many years but am not going to buy a GE appliance again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

not even 2 years old and it has totally stopped working. This conveniently past the 1-year warranty period so now I have to call in a repair person.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stopped working after 1.5 years

This dishwasher has been pretty crappy from the beginning. The front panel somehow got a rust spot within a month. It's very loud. It really heats up the countertop above it. That's nice to soften butter sometimes, but we've never had or heard of a dishwasher making the counter so hot. It also could clean better. Despite cleaning the trap and using dishwasher cleaner regularly, it has died after only 1.5 years. Overall, very disappointed in this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Awful dishwasher

I have had two separate GE repairman out for this dishwasher to no avail. I'd you don't run this dishwasher every day the dishwasher stinks so badly that you can't stand to open the door. This dishwasher holds at least 2 inches of water in the bottom and the repairman states that is normal. The suggestion by the repairman is too purchase cleaner for the dishwasher and use it daily!!!! Don't buy this product!!!!

Great things come in small packages!! The dishwasher came with our brand new home. I was skeptical... builders dont put the best appliances in you home. HOWEVER... This is a gem....
