Rusted lower rack

Lower rack of dishwasher has rusted in less than 2 years, wasn’t sure wether we can replace it, as this dishwasher is not sold anymore.

Noisy and too small inside, with too few spray arms and difficult-to-use bowl supports. The builder put in in our new house and we will be replacing it soon.

EXCELLENT RESULTS

The last two dishwashers I had - which were new - were from different manufacturers. I am finding the GE is superior in it's features and results. I don't have to "pre-wash" my dishes as I did with the last two. I hated my last dishwasher - it was awful - and this is such a wonderful improvement!
I would recommend this to a friend!

washes great but every single time it never fully dries the dishes at the end we end up having to wipe stuff down cheaply made

Won't turn on

We liked the dishwasher when it worked. The dishwasher started randomly beeping throughout the day for a few days, and then it stopped beeping. We thought it had fixed itself, but now it is completely dead. We know the outlet is getting power because the disposal still works, and it is connected to the same outlet. I even switched the plugs, and the disposal works in the plug the dishwasher was in.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cleaned great when it worked

We had this dishwasher for 2.5 years before the water inlet valve failed. Replaced this part and then it worked for another couple months before failing to turn on all together. Power to the dishwasher was not a problem. Debating on whether or not to purchase another GE dishwasher due to the lack of dependability.

Rusting top and bottom racks

We've had our GE dishwasher for 3 years, it came with our new home. Within a year the racks started rusting, and are getting worse. We are careful about putting any sharp objects in to avoid scratching the plastic coating on the racks. Bottom line: we will be buying another brand when it is time to replace this GE washer.
