Functional but initially buttons would stick

The unit seems well made and is very functional. The layout of the controls are good but initially the buttons would stick. It took a while for them to work free.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not quiet!

I had an older version of this model. It was very quiet. I bought this one as a replacement as the older model stopped working. I didn't want to have to retro fit a different model into the opening as it is a custom fit. I really didn't expect this one to be so loud. If you want quiet this is not the unit to purchase.

We appreciate your comments on the PM500SS power module. This model is rated at 500 cfm's wtih 9.0 sones on the high setting. There are push buttons for the fan that allow you to change the speed, which will also lower the sound. Condensation

I have owned my unit for 4 years. I am satisfied except for winter performance. I get condensation dripping from it every time the outside air drops to freezing. My exhaust duct is insulated. Is there an in line condensate trap that can me installed in the duct?

It works but very loud, can't hear anything else around. On top of that, it broke within a year where speed 2 and 3 did not change at all and made it even louder.

This fan really takes the cooking smells out of the kitchen. It's loud, but after years of lingering smells with our old puny fan, we are extremely happy with this one. However, with that said, a few weeks after installation the switch assembly has failed making it hard to use.
I would recommend this to a friend!
