What a great product!

Love this stove top! It heats up foods so quickly and efficiently. The feature that I enjoy most is that when foods overflow or drop onto the hot surface I can wipe them off and not spend minutes and minutes trying to remove them as off the ceramic surface. Also there are no knobs to clean around, just a slick, smooth surface. Love it!

Just what I wanted!

This is our second GE induction cook top. (we moved from the house with the first one). We installed it in January 2017 and it has worked perfectly since then (2 months). We had had a gas cook top but this is much easier to clean, has more precise temperature control and will hold a lower temperature than the gas cook top did.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We have had this cook top for one year, using it nearly every day and it seems to be reliable. I have nothing negative to say. It heats quickly, but as impressive, is the instantaneous response to reducing the heat if the boil is too rapid.

GE Cafe Series 36" Induction Stove Top

I was given an in-person review of this stove top in the store, and was going to get the 30" and decided to go ahead and get the 36". What a great choice! Looks beautiful and the best cooking experience I've ever had!!!!! Boils in less than 2 1/2 minutes or better if you have the right pots. Easy to clean and love the extra burner, and the glide controls, too! I'd never go back to gas or electric.

Great cooktop but very sensitive

I recently remodeled my kitchen and put in this stove. I love the appearance and the functionality; however, it is very sensitive. I have yet to find a set of stainless steel pans that work. We will put the pans on medium and the stove will turn off after only being on five minutes. We are now trying various pans to see what we can use that will actually work. Had I known the difficulty in finding pans, I would more than likely have chosen against induction.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
