Unit is attractive, but noisy. Hears fast, but other than that nothing special. I wish you could lick the controls when in use. It is very easy to turn the heat up or down by accident
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fantastic induction cooktop

Best cooktop on the market, not only is stylish and controls are modern but is also pretty accurate. 4 stars because it scratches easy if you are not being careful and requires constant buffering. Also paired smart cookware is just way too expensive... GE should come up with a more affordable option.

Love My Induction Cooktop!

This replaces an electric cooktop with knobs. The knobs always broke and the cooktop failed when liquid go in thru the knob area. This induction cooktop transfers energy directly to the pot or pan via a magnetic field. It’s very energy efficient and there are no knobs to break. It’s all touch controls. Very nice! I can even use it with the Hestan Cue app! I’ve been raving about this cooktop on Facebook. All in all, I am very satisfied with my induction cooktop.

Had to replace our old induction with what we could get right before Thanksgiving. We got lucky with our Cafe cooktop. Definitely would recommend.
