Subpar appliances, not worth the money.

I think that GE Cafe collection is probably the most overrated brand of appliances we’ve purchased. Not to mention the most expensive. For starters the dishwasher (when working properly) has mediocre performance compared to other brands we’ve purchased. It looks great but it doesn’t do the job. The dishes are not washed throughly and they don’t dry! We’ve had to have this dishwasher serviced three times (soon to be four) and each time same issue. We also have the microwave which isn’t great and the induction cooktop that we now have to have serviced and have the motherboard completely replaced. These appliances aren’t even 4 yrs old. At thi pont I’d rather purchase a new suite of appliances before paying another dollar for repairs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Looks cracked under normal use

Cooktop has a crack. Nothing fell on it. After reading reviews at the poor quality and finding out they don’t make it any more, it’s clear they produced an inferior product and they know it. Don’t waste your money. Service is so disappointing. They should at least look at it to see there was no impact. Now I’m afraid to use it with this tiny crack.

Complete waste of money, terrible product

After just 1 year, after flimsy warranty expired, cooktop stopped accepting pans that were previously fine and still work with other induction hotplates. For the high cost, the warranty should at least be longer. May as well use the hundreds to repair to replace with better product. Buyer beware!!!

Don't waist your money

Dont buy it dont waiat your money Purchase cooktop 10/20recived unit 6month after very nice looking unit but after 3 month of use my headed begin ,after 3moth use it 2 element stop working call for repair tech request need to part in orde to have it fix wait another 4 month to get it fix no luck I call customer care several time am hr on the ph ,month unable to use unit I request unit to be replaced with a new yaay I though problem was solve am not again same problem after 2 month of use ,since unit was purchased am replaced I was unable to enjoy it do to several issue every 3 month a repair service have to be out more than 10 time unit when out of mf warranty lucky me I purchased extended warranty for another 3yr on which run out too am unit is not working at all a waist of money on this cooktop

Stovetop cracked easily

After using the stove a few months a regular sized bottle of olive oil tipped over and hit the cooking surface and chipping and cracking it. The bottle wasn’t dropped, it just fell over. Very disappointed.
