Love not having to clean around knobs!

Been using this Inductiion cooktop about a month and love it so far! Easy to clean and for us a short learning curve to using the correct temps for cooking/ I also found some protective pads that prevent scratches from pans!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love our new cooktop!

We did a complete kitchen remodel and purchased all GE products and couldn't be happier with everything. My wife is a very proficient cook and cooked on gas burners for the past 20+ years and really loves cooking with induction.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The speed at which the cookware heats it’s great. It cycles off in less than 2 minutes if left unattended which is helpful if cooking with children and/or elders. You can utilize an iron core pan.

We had to replace our cooktop and when I spoke to both of my professional chef sons they both said “ if they couldn’t have gas they would have induction “. So we did... love love it. Very easy to use and get used to.

This is an amazing cooktop

We've had this installed for about a month. I love the look of it, honestly. The controls are nearly perfectly responsive as if they were physical dials, so never awkward. It cooks a little hotter than I'm used to, but the heat is so even, so fast, so controllable. I tend to engage the panel lock on quite a bit because I end up using the top for counter space as well now. I find that some metal things tend to mess with the controls and make them beep a bunch, so I just hit the lock button and I'm good. I haven't even tried the wifi connectivity yet!

Love the controls!

I cooked on professional gas stoves for about 25 years. I've had other induction cook tops, but found the controls frustrating. I had to select which burner and then change it's setting. The Cafe's controls are intuitive, and just like a gas cooktop: one control for each burner. Very pleased so far!

Cafe Cooktop - 3 Month Review

Purchased for new home application. Excellent product. Only reason not a 5 STAR reveiw is that when the unit is instaled, there is a gap between the bottom of the glass and the countertop. although small it is annoying when trying to clean the counter top around the coook toop.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wifi connection doesn't work

Paid a lot for this unit for it not to work correctly. It doesn't connect to the Smart App. I've gone through the process about 30 times myself and with tech support on the phone several times and then following the same directions again that they sent me in e-mail. It always gets hung on "finding your appliance in the cloud". It never does and eventually times out. Very frustrating that all the fancy features I paid for don't work. Would not buy again nor recommend this unit. Wish I had saved money on another brand that was cheaper since the high end features don't work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just to verify the WiFi label should be on the Cooktop Communication Module that needs to be plugged into the cooktop (there is an RJ45 port on the bottom) to commission the product. This Module is provided in a separate box w/ the cooktop. Also, there is a 2nd label that is provided in the literature bag. If you need to reorder, WB27X32243 should be the most update to date module for this unit.
