Wonderful cooktop

After two months of using our new Cafe induction cooktop we couldn't be happier. The cooking is fast and even. I was concerned about the glass top, especially the corners, but it hasn't been an issue.

Blazing fast extremely versatile

I've had this for over a year, it works flawlessly and it is extremely fast. I specially love the precise temperature controls, the ease of cleaning the surface and how safe and energy efficient it is. I would totally recommend this cooktop to anyone changing it's cooking appliances. Even if you may have to replace some pots and pans, it's still totally worth it.

Like the placement and sizes of the elements. The ganged elements and the matching included griddle are perfect. I heats very fast. The slide controls are quick and easy to set. The gray glass makes it much easier to see the markings for cookware placement.

Great Induction stovetop

Since buying it we use it daily with no problem. Heats much faster than regular stovetop and easier to keep up than my gas stove in my second home.

Great Alternative to Gas

We bought our Cafe 36 cooktop as part of our extensive kitchen remodel. In our location gas is not available, and we cook nearly everything from scratch, so cooking with an electric range is often less than optimal.
Our GE Cafe 36 is amazing! It cooks evenly and quickly, the controls are simple, it works with my favorite cast iron pots and pans, and it cleans up easily and quickly. I couldn't ask for more.

Works Amazingly

We were a little iffy about buying an induction cooktop because we’ve never used one before but we chose this over gas. I LOVE IT! It’s easy to use, easy to clean and works great! I love the lock control panel and the built in timer. It heats faster than electric ranges and it’s very nice! We fell in love with it
